Community Benefit

Improving the health of our community

Guided by our mission, Adventist Health Glendale’s calling is to help improve the lives of our friends and neighbors in Glendale and beyond – not only by providing exceptional healthcare, but also by extending our impact beyond our hospital walls through strategic community investments.

Making an impact in our community

Every three years, Adventist Health Glendale completes a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) that is grounded in comprehensive health and well-being data paired with the voices and experiences of community members. Guided by these insights, hospital and community leaders intentionally address the greatest health needs through the Community Health Implementation Strategy (CHIS).

The high needs outlined in our 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment are:

  • Access to care
  • Community infrastructure
